There will be a new end-of-the-world, four-hour TV mini-series called Impact. A meteor strikes the moon, and it's on a collision course with Earth. How will the people save the planet? (I am not a physics expert, so I have no idea how a falling moon would impact earth's gravitational pull.) The producers behind this series are from Germany.It will debut Sundays June 21 and June 28 at 9:00pm EST. It looks very interesting. Here is the promotional video below:

In the movie they show floating people and objects. But they forgot to mention that atmospheric pressure changes due to gravitational changes would crush any living being.
