Review: Pure Moods Vol. I (Audio CD)

I purchased this album, Pure Moods, Vol.1, in high school (many years ago!). This was my first introduction to New Age music. This is an excellent album of vocal and instrumental music from around the world. Enigma, Adiemus, Enya, the list is endless. The melodies can speak to your soul and transcend time.

What is New Age music? According to Wikipedia, it is "peaceful music of various styles that is intended to make people feel good when they hear it... New Age music is typically relaxing and inspiring, and is often used by listeners for such activities as yoga, massage, meditation, reading, as a method of stress management or to create a peaceful atmosphere in their home or other environments.

If you ever want to relax yourself and listen to great, sacred and soothing melodies, this is the album to buy!

I totally agree about music helping in stress management. It works for me and my friends. Sometimes all we really need is some calming music to relax us for a bit. pzizz has endless tracks you can play.
